18 October 2022: I tested positive for Covid-19 and became very ill. The road to recovery is proving very slow and difficult. My fitness has completely disappeared and even a two-kilometre run is a struggle. In February, I hadn’t managed to run further than 10–12 km. As a result, I’ve only been doing training laps.

My new challenge in 2015 is running. After years of not running at all, I started small distances of 1.8 mi with my girlfriend Terry in March 2015.
In May I started to suffer from an old injury — heel spurs. No running until August, then we started more quietly and gradually increased distances.
